Ken Nilson’s dominant season continues. Ken and Fuzzy Martin were tied going into the final hole. Ken laid up to about 115 yards while Fuzzy went for the green in two from 215 yards and a tough side hill lie on the left side. His approach unfortunately didn’t clear the hazard in front of the green. He took his drop and proceeded to stuff his 4th shot to about 4 feet. Ken hit his third to six feet and promptly buried the putt for his record 12th Men’s Club Championship. Ken has now won or been on the winning team of The Ridgewood Bowl, Individual Match Play, 4 Ball Match Play, Men’s Senior Club Championship, and now the Men’s Club Championship.
