September 8th Blog

September 8th hurricane IRMA is about to reach South Florida and cause all kinds of havoc, but here in Moultonborough New Hampshire we are enjoying some beautiful Fall weather.  The golf course is in fantastic shape and the crowds have lessoned, which means lots of great Fall golf to be had here at "The Wood"   Green fees have been reduced on the weekdays to $39 and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to $49 tough to beat for prime time and pristine conditions.  We are also offering some great deals on membership if you sign up before September 30th, please check the membership page for more details.  The Patriots are off to a rough start, however I have faith they will rebound.  You can come watch any of the Pats games and enjoy a frosty Bud Light draft for only $1.99 here in the Overlook Tavern.  Hope to see you soon around the club.

Greetings, I think I actually see the sun in the sky.  It's a miracle!  Mother nature has tested us so far this spring with lots of rain and seasonably low temps, hopefully this will change soon.  Men's league is off and running and with record numbers this year we are looking forward to a great season.  We would like to wish all the Mothers a happy Mother's Day.  Saturday & Sunday all mothers play for free and get a 25% discount on all ladies apparel.  The golf course is responding well to the recent aeration and is looking about as lush as possible, the challenge now will be keeping up with mowing it once we get some nice weather.  Congrats to our Head Pro Mitch Jefferson for finishing 4th in the NHPGA pro-am this Monday, keep up the good play Mitch.  Next Sunday the 21st we start our tournament schedule with the Ridgewood Bowl please contact the Golf Shop to register.
